Kochański & Partners advised on SYCLEF’s strategic investment in Polski Holding Instalacyjny
SYCLEF is a European powerhouse in the field of commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems. The group employs over 3,500 people across nearly 70 companies and provides advanced technological solutions for logistics centres, industrial plants, and retail chains. It has just finalised its investment in Polski Holding Instalacyjny, revealing that this is just the start of its plans to establish a leading HVAC group in Poland.
Based on a buy-and-build strategy, the transaction enables local leaders to retain their established identity while providing them with access to international capital and cutting-edge expertise.
This complex international operation was a success thanks to the close cooperation between Altios International experts and Kochański & Partners lawyers.
The World Trademark Review 1000 2026 recognises Kochański & Partners
A trademark is much more than just a logo. It is the foundation of trust, representing the value that an organisation delivers. At the same time, it is a tangible and quantifiable aspect of an organisation’s value. It is therefore important to take proper care of it, strengthen and protect it. However, this must be done with the help of experts who have the strength, scale and capabilities to act effectively. Not only on their own turf, but also outside their borders.
How do you choose them?
Ideally, by referring to independent research such as the WTR 1000 ranking, the ‘gold standard’ in the IP industry. Every year, its experts analyse the market in almost 90 countries, and their recommendations are followed by global giants such as Apple, Google, Nike and Coca-Cola.
Therefore, being included in this ranking confirms that one’s approach to intellectual property protection combines the highest level of legal precision with a business-oriented perspective. The results achieved by Kochański & Partners this year are the best proof of this.
Piotr Kochański was recommended in prosecution, Karolina Marciniszyn in prosecution, enforcement and litigation, and the Intellectual Property team was recognised for its work in enforcement and litigation, and prosecution.
Kochański & Partners support the construction of the third Ronald McDonald House in Poland
In the budget of a public benefit organisation, every zloty counts. This is particularly pertinent when the matter at hand concerns providing a roof over the heads of families with sick children. Thanks to the Kochański & Partners team’s effective tax strategy, the construction of the third Polish Ronald
McDonald House at the Children’s Memorial Health Institute (IPCZD) received a huge financial boost. Rather than going to the state budget, 15% of the investment value will go directly towards construction and equipment costs.
A team of advisors from Kochański & Partners represented the Foundation before the Director of the National Revenue Administration Information Centre (KIS). The process required multiple supplements to the arguments and a thorough verification of the facts. The lawyers successfully demonstrated that the Foundation’s Houses are not commercial establishments, but rather a necessary addition to the public healthcare system that fulfils social and residential functions.
After a strenuous process to obtain binding rate information, the tax authority revised its previous position and confirmed the right to apply a lower VAT rate.
Chambers Global 2026 for Kochański & Partners. A major promotion for our Litigation Practice and confirmed strength of our M&A team
The Chambers Global ranking is a brand that is backed by a meticulous research process into the legal market. The ranking considers client feedback, the complexity and innovation of projects, and their real impact on business.
These are the kinds of cases Kochański & Partners lawyers handle. They are involved in multi-stage, cross-border transactions and multi-threaded court proceedings, initiate legislative changes, work with global partners and obtain international financing for clients. This is best illustrated by the results of Chambers Global 2026. The Litigation practice has seen a spectacular rise to the ‘Highly Regarded’ category, the M&A team has a strong position in the ‘Mid-Market/Global’ ranking, and Paweł Cholewiński, head of the Transactional Practice Group, Real Estate, M&A, has been awarded the title of ‘Notable Practitioner’.
This is indisputable proof that the strategy of combining lawyers’ expertise with an understanding of particular industries gives Kochański & Partners’ clients a real advantage. And it gives a strong market position to the firm itself.
