Panattoni builds factory of almost 29 000 sqm near Warsaw for Reynaers Aluminium

Panattoni, the leading industrial space developer in Europe is developing a factory for Reynaers Aluminium near Warsaw. The global leader in the aluminium market is to make use of a centre of almost 29,000 sqm, which will be one of the company’s largest production facilities in Europe. The development is to be submitted for BREEAM certification for a rating of ‘Excellent’.

The company has started construction of what is to be one of the biggest factories in the European portfolio of Reynaers Aluminium. The development, which will have an area of 29,000 sqm is to be built in Żaba Wola, just 35 km from Warsaw and it will raise the production capacity of the company with a new line and production capabilities. The business is to start using the centre from Q2 2023. In the next stage, there are plans to expand the production area and create and additional anodizing line. Reynaers Aluminium is a company that combines design, technology and digitisation to produce innovative and environmentally-friendly aluminium systems for windows, doors as well as sliding systems and façades. The Reynaers Group operates in 40 countries and employs 2,600 people.

The development is to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of ‘Excellent’ and, on the grounds of the facility, solutions are to be employed to save water, energy and to limit CO2 emissions. The area is to be prepared with the comfort of the workers in mind in regard to acoustics, air quality and access to natural light. The development site includes over 37,200 sqm of green areas. The office section of the Reynaers Aluminium Central Europe Campus was designed by the ARCH-DECO architectural studio from Gdynia.

The factory is being built next to the S8 expressway. The proximity of this road means that it takes around 30 minutes to reach the centre of Warsaw and also that the centre is connected to some of the the most important cities in Poland including Łódź and Wrocław, and also to  Białystok in the north east.
