Comment les entreprises peuvent mettre en place des processus pour minimiser les risques découlant des mauvaises pratiques et bénéficier des bonnes pratiques dans la chaîne d’approvisionnement ?

Mazars and the Polish Institute for Human Rights and Business would like to invite you to the seminar: “How companies can implement processes to mitigate the risks arising out of poor practices and benefit from the best practices in the supply chain”. 14 March 2016 – Mazars in Poland office, ul. Piękna 18, 00-549 Warszawa.

Observance of human rights is a key element of business ethics and the conduct in a socially responsible way. Compliance with human rights is also one of the elements that will have to be disclosed by large companies and Public Interest Entities in the company's activity report starting next year, as required by EU Directive 2014/95/EU on disclosure of non-financial and diversity information by certain large undertakings and groups, the provisions of which are to be implemented into Polish law by 6 December 2016.

Among the key challenges that companies face is insufficient knowledge of what constitutes good practice in the area of human rights, lack of adequate preventive and remedial mechanisms for human rights violations and lack of knowledge regarding key processes such as human rights due diligence.

During our seminar we will discuss methods of identifying and protecting against bad practices in the whole supply chain as well as the value-added benefits from mitigating risk and maximising positive social impact – so that companies can make profits they can be proud of.

The seminar will be conducted in English.
